WHY SUPPORT OUR MISSION
Over half a million Canadians are currently living with dementia, and more than 25,000 new cases are diagnosed every year. As the number continues to rise, so does the need for meaningful connection, comfort, and stimulation. Research shows that cognitive activities such as puzzles, crafts, music, and memory-engaging tools can have a profoundly positive impact on seniors living with dementia by fostering connection, easing anxiety, and preserving dignity.
At Senior 2 Senior Living, we are a student-led non-profit community organization committed to supporting seniors with dementia wherever needed. Our work now includes two branches:
1. Engagement Kits for Seniors With Dementia
We collect and distribute items like puzzles, activity books, sensory tools, and comfort items that bring joy and stimulation to seniors across London.
2. Mini-Events at Retirement Homes
Our volunteers host small group events featuring crafts, conversation, live music, and refreshments—simple moments that bring laughter, creativity, and human connection into seniors’ daily lives.
